Wow, that's horrible, so sad to hear! What a mess. I would say it's very difficult to go from Amazon to ANY company. Amazon is probably the single best company in the world for motivated builders to build and own their destiny. My career grew at 2x speed during my time at Amazon. I'm happy at Google but there's definite things I miss dearly. Best of luck in your situation!
