Different teams have different densities of PEs. Roughly it's 3% of the population, so given Amazon's SDE population that's probably 3k these days. Builder Tools had a higher density than some other orgs, because there were multiple company-wide billion dollar spaces there. If you don't naturally get a chance to work with them, don't be shy, seek them out!
